Maritza Lopez transferred from Santa Monica College and recently earned her B.A. in Art History and minor in African American Studies at UCLA. She is interested in engaging arts in education for individuals across different communities. Whether it’s for people currently incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, system impacted, homeless individuals, and more. She is inspired to make the arts more accessible for all marginalized and underrepresented communities.
Kenton Sakurai is a medical student at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He is also the founder of Edward Kenton Nicholas Inc., a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that provides financial assistance to families whose children are undergoing medical hardship. He earned his BS in Human Biology and Society from University of California, Los Angeles.
Andrea Di Miceli is an Associate in the Boston Office of Analysis Group. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics at UCLA, where his research focused on Political and Development Economics as well as Applied Microeconomics.
Louis Tse is the founder of the Student Movement of Justice and Opportunity. For his community organizing in affordable housing and affordable education, he has been awarded as a Peace Fellow by the Rotary World Peace Conference, the UCLA Charles E. Young Humanitarian Award, and a Local Hero nominee by PBS SoCal.
He is also a spacecraft engineer at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, studying the planets of our solar system – including our own. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at UCLA. His scientific research interests focus on the food-energy-water nexus, and improving our understanding of society and the environment.
